PACRITEX WEATHER INFIELD SCIENCE PROJECT

PACRITEX – Pressure Acoustics Recordings Inside Tornadoes Experiment started its most recent field research called Project OFF, also known as OBSERVATIONS In The FORWARD FLANK of Supercells on May 1st of 2024. It was established and created by Meteorologist Lanny Dean with over 30 years of experience!

The goal of Project Off is to better understand Supercell thunderstorms and the life cycle of tornadoes. The objective is to strategically deploy the INPAR (Probes) and other scientific probes, and drones in the trajectory of tornadoes and severe storms!
